The Year is 1993
Investigate like it's 1993. Hunt clues on VHS tapes, shortwave radio, and the early internet.
Your apartment. A corkboard. A laptop running DOS. A radio scanner picking up frequencies they don't want you to hear. Scrub VHS footage frame by frame. Sift through leaked documents. Search the early internet before they scrub it. Pin the evidence. Draw the red strings. Publish your theory before they find you.
Build Your Board
Your conspiracy board is your weapon. Pin evidence cards: photos, documents, audio recordings, lab analyses. Connect them with red string that actually behaves like string. It sags, it tangles, it connects.
Link evidence into Orb Chains. Connected sequences where each card amplifies the next. The longer the chain, the higher the multiplier.
Collect Evidence
Every piece of evidence is a card with rarity, connections, and special effects. From Common field notes to Legendary photographs, each card tells part of the story.
Some cards come with Cognitive Bias effects. Confirmation Bias boosts matching evidence, Survivorship Bias filters your results, Anchoring locks your first piece as gospel. Your brain is a tool. Use it.
Transmissions Intercepted
Tune in. They're broadcasting whether you listen or not.
"The proof starts here. Even the debunkers stopped trying." // WFARM 92.1
"Coincidence requires randomness. This has a schedule, a budget, and a cover story." // TECHN 107.3
"Connected on the board. Connected in reality." // CFOLK 88.5
"Three copies remain unaccounted for. Initiate recovery protocol." // KWGN 91.7
"The string goes Cold-Blooded Elites to The Beings to free energy cell. You can't make this up." // CYBER 104.9
"Don't let them find you first." // Unknown Frequency
It all connects. Everything connects. You just have to see it.

Features
Everything a dedicated investigator needs.
Publish Theories
When your board tells a story, publish your theory. The game generates a unique conspiracy narrative from your connections, complete with dramatic reveals and evidence citations.
Theory scores calculate from Orb Chain length, card rarities, cross-category bonuses, and Cognitive Bias multipliers. But publishing draws attention. Watch your Suspicion meter.
Score & Strategy
This isn't random pinning. Every card has categories: Alien Encounters, Reptilian Encounters, Lost Civilizations, Suppressed Technology, and more.
Cross-category connections earn bonuses. Card placement matters. Special effects chain. But dig too deep and your Sanity frays. Neglect your life and your Life Balance drops. Three meters. One investigator. Don't lose yourself.
Your Investigation Desk
Four tools. Four ways to hunt. The VHS Evidence Lab lets you scrub found footage frame by frame. The Radio Scanner tunes frequencies and intercepts transmissions. The 1337-OS Terminal searches early internet archives and forums. The Filing Cabinet holds leaked documents and classified memos.
Your desk. Your evidence. Your truth.
VHS Evidence Lab
Scrub found footage frame by frame. Enhance. Isolate. Extract the frame they tried to erase.
Radio Scanner
Tune frequencies. Lock signals. Intercept transmissions from 5 underground stations. 25+ original tracks.
1337-OS Terminal
Search early internet archives and forums. Dig through BBS posts and Usenet threads before they scrub it all.
Filing Cabinet
Sift through leaked documents, classified memos, and redacted reports. The paper trail never lies.
Orb Chain Scoring
Link evidence into chains where each card amplifies the next. Longer chains = bigger multipliers = higher theory scores.
Cognitive Bias Effects
Confirmation Bias. Survivorship Bias. Anchoring. Your own psychology becomes a game mechanic that warps your investigation.
Three Meters to Manage
Suspicion rises as you publish. Sanity frays as you dig. Life Balance drops when you forget to live. Don't lose yourself.
200+ Evidence Cards
Photos, documents, audio recordings, lab analyses. Common to Legendary. 10 conspiracy categories. Collect them all.

What is Conspiracy Simulator?
A dark comedy investigation game set in 1993. Hunt clues on VHS tapes, shortwave radio, and the early internet. Pin evidence to your conspiracy board, connect it with red string, build Orb Chains, and publish theories they don't want you to see. Think deckbuilder meets corkboard meets talk radio.
When does it release?
Conspiracy Simulator is coming to Steam in 2026. Wishlist now to be notified the moment it launches.
How much will it cost?
Pricing hasn't been announced yet. Wishlist on Steam to get notified when it's available.
What platforms?
PC (Windows 10+) via Steam at launch. It runs on minimal hardware — integrated graphics will handle it.
Is this a real conspiracy game or a joke?
Both. The conspiracies are fictional, the gameplay is real, and the humor is dark. You'll build legitimate investigation boards with real game mechanics — the theories just happen to involve reptilian elites and suppressed technology. Or do they?
Will there be multiplayer?
Not at launch, but it's possible for the future. For now, you investigate alone.
